What to put in the first message
None of this is required — a paragraph is a perfectly good start. But the more of it you include, the more useful our first reply will be.
- The problem, not the solution. What is going wrong now is more useful than what you think should be built.
- What exists already — a site, a system, a spreadsheet doing a system’s job.
- Who it is for, and roughly how many of them.
- When it needs to be live, and whether that date is real or aspirational.
- Rough budget. Not to spend it — to tell you honestly whether we can do the job for it.
What happens next
We read it properly and reply with what we think you are actually buying, which is occasionally different from what you asked for. If it looks like a fit, we set up a call. If it does not, we will say so and point you somewhere better rather than taking the work and hoping.
For most projects the next step after that call is a Discovery Sprint: two weeks, R12,500, ending in a written scope, a prototype and a fixed quote for the build — with the fee credited back if you go ahead.
